in response to sweemeat...   Please dont take this wrong but maybe this is the year that you make them something from the heart. Kids have a way of manipulating people, especially parents, into getting what they want. I dont know how good or old they are, but since we have almost 2 months till xmas, you should have enough time to think of something. Try searching the internet. Our society has really brainwashed us and our children into thinking that we need to consume in order to be happy. People get payed huge amounts of money to take yours away. Start asking little questions to get info from them, and with that info make the gift. Just be sincere with them, you might be suprised with their reaction and might even start a new tradition!

Aidpage develpoers, can you create "city & state" links? It would be a great way to help speed up the assisting process.

Say someone needed food, I could go to Texas, San Antonio, and find people. Then contact that person and take food to them or give their contact info to a few churches I know assist needy people.

I really could speed up the process.

What's on your heart and mind today?

Life has a way of bending us all into positions that we would rather not be in. It can be unfair and unjust and to a certain extent, not bias to a particular gender, race, or religion. Many of us are facing difficult times and unfortunately this is just the beginning. I'm an optimistic person even though you can't tell from this writing, but I would like to say that some of the most challenging and severely problematic  days are ahead of us.  People will begin to place things into perspective in regards to needs and wants, luxuries and necessities, and many of the issues that we read will worsen, before they simply disappear off of the site. I have always believed in a higher power, and out of respect for those who don't, I will keep an account of my words.  From one person with reason to all others out there, people should begin to stock up because we will be fighting for our lives in the next couple of years. I know that this is almost impossible for some, but it needs to be done.  Set an amount aside for this and dedicate your heart and soul into it. If you are on Gov. asst. keep in mind that what you receive right now is free, so use it wisely. Minimize the buying of snacks and perishables and opt for bulk or family canned products and plenty of water. Begin to buy out of a survival mentality.  Basics first, then once your stockpile is enough for 6 months to a years' worth, a few wants can be added. Keep in mind even during our tough times we make room for the little things that "we deserve." Those deserved things could be transferred  into extended life for one or all of the family. People will become uncivilized when hunger and death begin to overtake their thoughts. Since this is all planning, think about what you use on a daily basis, and then think about what it would be like without it. Needs would include all toiletries: soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper. Medicines for colds, flu's, pain, first aid kit and so forth.  This is a great time again to use what the Gov has offered. FSA would really help buy in this category.  If you have an option to receive a health FSA then I strongly encourage you to do so. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Flexible_spending_account&oldid=318598818

Do not get rid of any clothing(fat clothes/skinny clothes) in your closets. It would be a good idea to buy clothing and blankets from a local Goodwill or thrift store or buy whenever there is a clearance rack. When money is scarce, and people are on a warpath trying to buy whatever is left, you will be ahead of the game.  Begin to save all change in your pockets into something that cannot be tampered with; for many reasons it will be more valuable than paper money.

Up until this point my writing has been universal to all but now I must say the last and most important part of this whole thing is getting things right with God. For some "god" is mythical but not to me. I KNOW that there is a God because He HAS revealed Himself to me; read my profile (there's a true story in it). I plead with everyone of you out there to open your heart and your mind to this. He is waiting for you to open up to Him. There is a perfect God that has been attacked for years in many ways, and for what? He loves us and wants to provide for us, and all that He asks for is for us to surrender to Him. The sad thing is that as humans we would bow down to a great, successful and powerful CEO or other type of influential man, but have a hard time giving the same respect to God. The word of God says many are called but few are chosen. Every time you have heard this invitation you have been called. Those that trust in God and accept His gift of eternal life become the chosen. With all the love that I could give to total strangers, please do not ignore this invitation again.

Believe (In Jesus - He is truth) John 14:6

Repent (ask for forgiveness)

Seek Him

Pray this: "Jesus, only you know my true troubles, if You are there for me like Your word says You are, come into my heart, and help me fix the wrongs in my life. I repent of all of my sins, just give me a fresh start." Everything in life happens for a reason. Do not let this moment pass you by, for it's worth more than anything and only cost your heart.

Loving You In Christ, Ram (IAKOKD)

I dont want to bust any bubbles, but really look at the pros and cons of farming, because there are plenty of both. I dont know if you have seen the documentary, The Future of Food, but you should take time out just to get an idea on some of the negatives. Just trying to prevent a "I wish I would have known" scenario.

That is awsome!  God is good.  The sad thing about life is that we cant see past the next second, but God knows the whole story. Trust in Him.  God bless you and your family.

If you have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, write me and let me know I will do what I can to help you learn more about your new life in Christ.  This is not a denomination, this is a relationship.  Jesus Christ says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no man comes to the Father except throough me."  Your way has brought you here...let Jesus take control from now on and see His favor, love, and mercy flow into your life.

I can certainly say that God lead you here.  There are some realities that you are going to have to face.  On one side, you have the immediate threat that you are about to lose everything.  The true negative in this is that you all are about to go thought this alone.  On the other hand you are about to gain something more valuable if you are willing to open your eyes, and not your brown ones.  More than anything you need to understand that you were born with nothing and will leave with nothing.  Most people live out their live accumulating things that break, rot, are stolen, and do nothing about their after-life.  I'm not a guru, or shrink, but I do know where to find peace...that is only through Jesus Christ. He promised that He will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).  Everyone who reads this has an opportunity to receive this free gift of love.  Have you ever experienced a miracle in your life?  You can, but if you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, right now you are in sin and God must look away from sin (not literally, He knows all).  Remove the sin from your life and let God begin to work on your behalf.

Pray:

Father forgive me of all my sins.  I need you, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior.  Help me in these hard times Lord.  I don't know for a fact that this is real so please help me build my faith in you.  In Jesus name I command all debt to leave my life.  Lord let your favor be with me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Believe...just believe.

If you would like to know without a shadow of a doubt that you are going to go to Heaven, please send me a message.  I can lead you there, but I cant take you all the way in.  You have to take yourself.  No matter what your situation is right now all this fades away.  All of the pain, burdens, strife, panic, anguish, tears, helplessness, concerns, all do not exist in Heaven.  The bible says that our lives are like vapors in the wind, James 4:14.  We are only here, alive, for about 75 years, take care of your eternity!  Send me a message and I will help you with this.

Loving you in Christ,

Ram (iakokd)

I would be extremely happy with you sharing this with your church!  Sometimes people wonder if God/Jesus really exists, I dont!  I KNOW that HE does and I know that God will speak to many peoples hearts through the testimony. I love being used by God!

Looking for someone with a big heart to donate a laptop to the men's ministry of my church, which I lead.  I am renting one right now in order to provide the congregation with announcements.  I also would love to have office installed, so that I can continue to use powerpoint for this task.  At the moment we are a small church, and this type of thing is not in the buget, so anything will be appreciated.  Thank you and God bless all of you.

About carlos_alpha63

Please take my words at face value. I know the Lord, and sometimes, actually most of the time we make decisions in life without consulting God. Then we are left at the end of that road broken. Please accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, with all your heart. Since you are at the bottom, you can evaluate your before and after more clearly. Carlos, please brother dont let the enemy destroy you any more, God will provide and God will defend. Pray this: "Jesus, only you know my true troubles, if You are there for me like Your word says You are, come into my heart, and help me fix the wrongs in my life. I repent of all of my sins, just give me a fresh start." Everything in life happens for a reason. Do not let this moment pass you by, for it's worth more than any degree and only cost your heart. What's on your heart and mind today?

This picture was given to me at a time when I needed God the most. Please read below to find out how God worked in my life at that time.  It will always be proof of the awsome God that I serve.

I went to a church with a cousin once and was empty inside. I knew that I needed to feel a supernatural love to fill the void in my heart. I was desperately seeking God in my life at this time or at least proof that he was there, and more specifically there for me like the bible tells us. So in my brokeness, I prayed hard, eyes squinting, heart opened, desperate and needy hard, in silence at this church. I knew that He knew what I was feeling inside and there was no need to say anything aloud. I prayed that God would hold me. "Put your arms around me please, please God show me that you love me, show me that you are there," I remember feeling. After about 5-10 mins of this, a lady about 4-5 pews up, hesitantly walked over to me. She said..."son, I know that I dont know you (and she didn't because I was a visitor, and this was my first time there) but I have to give you something." She very slowy and hesitaltly, reached into her purse, pulled out a card, held it for a second or two, and in obedience to God, handed it over to me. When I looked at the card it was the image of Jesus standing on the clouds, hugging a man. I knew that the man standing with Jesus was me, he even looks like me (compare my image to the picture).

He literally answered my prayed instantly. I cried and cried, because as I held that pic, I knew that Jesus was hugging me. I could feel his Love. Have you prayed with all your heart to Jesus? This is a true story and Jesus is not a respecter of people, meaning He is equal and fair to each one of us.  There is no one greater than the other.  He's waiting for you to seek Him.  The word of God says in Rev 3:20 that "He stands at the door and knocks" - Invite him into your heart, life, and/or problem today.

All you have to do is:

1)Believe in Him. John 14:6

2)Repent

3)Seek Him

Pray to Him and I know that you too will be able to write of His greatness, godness, and love soon! God bless all of you and I pray that the seeds that have been planted be watered by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

What's on your heart and mind today?

Looking for a wealthy individual, business or company and/or church to assist my family of 6 regain our finacial stability. We are living with my in laws, in a 2 bedroom house. There are 8 people total in this apt who have many needs and both men of the house work to try and cover all expenses. There are five children ages 16,12,10,7,and 4.  Because of debt, late fees, overdraft fees (no way around it), and day to day needs, we are all hurting. Please pray and ask if it be God's will to bless my family and with how much. We will take anything that anyone feels in their heart to give. I know that I can change everything around with $15,000.  If it is needed, I will provide an itemize list of where the funds will be used. If a loan is possible with little to no interest, a payment plan can be formulated in order to repay.  God bless all of you.

For those of you that are going through hard times, please, seek God.  Things are going to get worst after the elections.  God will open doors that no man can shut and shut doors that no man can open.  John 14:6 should be read as well.  If Jesus is not your Savior invite him into your heart.  Trust in Him.  Pray for specifics such as ..."Lord please if it be your will, provide a job where I can work 20-30 hours a week making 45000-55000 a year.  Let it include excellent benifets, and a signing bonus to help me catch up on all my bills."  If you have faith the size of a mustard seed you can move moutains, the bible says.  Debt is a mountain.  Move it with faith in something Greater than all, Jesus.
